MEET DR. NAVNEET GILL, DMD
Dr. Navneet Gill is a highly accomplished oral and maxillofacial surgeon who recently returned to the Pittsburgh area after having completed additional surgery training in Washington, D.C. She is known for her compassionate approach to surgical care and her commitment to clinical excellence. Originally from Buffalo, New York—and a proud lifelong Bills fan—Dr. Gill’s journey in healthcare has been driven by a deep-rooted passion for both surgical art and service.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2021, where she distinguished herself through academic and clinical excellence. During dental school, Dr. Gill was honored with both the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons William H. Bell Award and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award—recognitions reserved for top students demonstrating leadership and outstanding performance in the field.
Dr. Gill completed her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. During her time, she served as Chief Resident on the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery service at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Her clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, anesthesia, facial trauma management, benign pathology, and orthognathic surgery. At the core of Dr. Gill’s practice is her belief that the best care starts with listening. She is dedicated to understanding her patients' individual needs and strives to deliver the highest quality treatment with empathy, ethics, and excellence. Her guiding philosophy is simple: leave people better than when they came in.
Outside of surgery, Dr. Gill finds joy in spending time with her husband, son, and their beloved dog, Mellow. Together, they love traveling, barbecuing, attending sports games in the wonderful city of Pittsburgh, and visiting local breweries. In her personal time, she is an avid reader and enjoys kickboxing, Barre workouts, and the creative art of scrapbooking.
